Quick Tip: Use dBpoweramp Music Converter to batch convert audio files

Media_httpwwwdbpowera_ffabf

I had MANY .m4a and .acc files in my music collection that didn't always play nicely with Google Music, Amazon Cloud Player, Spotify, and other music software. I googled around a bit and found dBpoweramp Music Converter for Windows. It supports a large group of conversions out of the box, and includes easy installation of additional codecs.

It's not perfect for noobs, but if you're used to managing codecs and choosing music file encoding settings, this will convert a TON of files for you. It even lets you ratchet processor priority for the program up or down, depending on what else you're doing with your computer.

You can install a fully functional demo today, and it's good for 21 days. After that, you need to drop at least $38 for continued use. I only needed a one-time batch conversion, so the demo is more than enough time to get what I needed out of the program. If you know of a free-forever alternative to dBpoweramp (especially for Linux, since I'm usually in Ubuntu) please let me know in the comments.
